BRIEF PROFILE OF MR. Olaide Akinwunmi Akintayo

Mr. OlaideAkinwunmiAkintayo was born at Agege, Lagos on the 28th May, 1986. His primary education was atAnwarul Islam Primary School, Agege, Lagos and Excellent Children School, Akute, Ogun State between 1992 and 1997; his secondary was at Ajuwon High School, Ajuwon, Ogun State between 1997 and 2003. For his tertiary education, he proceeded to Federal Polytechnic, Offa, Kwara State where he obtained his Ordinary National Diploma in Food Technology with Distinction in 2008, and thento University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Kwara State where he was admitted to the Degree of Bachelor of Science with First Class in Food Science in 2014. He is currently undergoing his Master of Scienceresearch work - which is due for completion in 2018 -in Food Science in University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Kwara State.

He has attended a number of conferences; as well as trainings which include training on Health, Safety and Environment (Levels 1, 2 and 3).

Before his appointment by University of Ilorin on the 4th February, 2016, he had briefly worked as a senior secondary school Mathematics teacher at Peculiar Private School, Lambe, Ogun State in 2016. He is currently an Assistant Lecturer in Food Science, University of Ilorin andspecialises in Food Chemistry and Food Product Development.Mr.Akintayo is single.
