Professor O. A. ADEKUNLE
Professor Oluwasegun Adetokunbo ADEKUNLE obtained his B.Sc.(1986), M.Sc.(1988), and PhD (1993) in Agricultural Extension and Rural Development, all at the University of Ibadan, Ibadan. He got Faculty Zard Scholarship (B.Sc.), Federal Government of Nigeria Scholarship (M.Sc), and Ford Foundation Scholarship (PhD) for the three degrees.
He had Consulted for UK DFID, UN FAO, UNDP, WORLD BANK, British Council, USAID, Action Aid Nigeria, IFESH USA, SASAKAWA AFRICA FUND FOR EXTENSION EDUCATION (SAFE), Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC), Nigeria, Kwara State, Kano State, and Oyo State Governments on Agricultural Resources and Education Evaluation. He had similarly been invited as Collaborator and Team Leader in several National and International Researches. He had produced and solely supervised over 35 PhD, 50 M.Sc, 80 B.Sc. graduate Dissertation and Theses. He was Full Professor at the University of Cape Coast, Cape Coast, Ghana (2013/2014). He had attended several International Training Programs and Conferences in South Africa, Ghana, Italy, Malawi, Benin Republic, etc.
Professor Oluwasegun ADEKUNLE has published over 85 papers in reputable Journals. He had been HOD several times and Acting Dean on numerous occasions. He had been involved in numerous Departmental, Faculty and University Committees and subcommittees.
Professor Oluwasegun Adetokunbo ADEKUNLE's research Interests are Agricultural Extension Communication and Administration, Gender, Indigenous Knowledge, Projects Monitoring and Evaluation, Use of PLA/PRA Techniques, Agricultural Value Chain Development, Exports and Modelling. He is skilled in Photography, Report Designing
and use of modern ICTs.
